ABOUT

Pets have been around for forever, but using them for service and therapy purposes is a fairly new concept. Specifically in farming communities in Indiana, animals can be treated as equipment instead of as pets. Organizations like Bear and Friends are seeking to give these overlooked animals a second chance, and even train them to be of service to those suffering with social and emotional issues. This site will focus on the importance of both therapy and service animals.
